Welcome to the world of green garters.

Here's one by Encore Bridal in my favorite beach town.
It's made of 100% post-consumer polyester that comes entirely from recycled plastic bottles.

Another one by Garter Girl.com incorporates your "something blue" and is made out of recycled plastic bottles as well.  You can find it in The Garter Girl's Shop.

I honestly wasn't going to go the garter route... but now that I've seen these, I may have changed my mind.

No garter toss, though.  I'm keeping this one!
